How to remove moss from roof
If you have roof moss and would like to know how to remove it from nearly any type of shingles then keep reading, we have a roof moss removal solution that’s not only safe and biodegradable, but effective and affordable as well.
Roof Resolve roof cleaner can remove moss from roofs by using the power of oxygen. Roof Resolve is oxygen based and safe so there is no need to worry. It won't stain, dry out or damage your shingles, remove the finish on aluminum or metal gutters, stain painted surfaces, damage plants and grass, or create health hazards for your pets and children.
First, mix 3/4 cup Roof Resolve per gallon of water, stirring frequently until fully dissolved. Allow product to fully activate for 15 minutes prior to application. Once activated use a garden sprayer or other spraying device to apply Roof Resolve to your roof. Starting from the top of your roof line and working your way down, apply an even coat of fully dissolved, activated, Roof Resolve roof cleaner to the area of your roof with moss. Now, let it sit for 20-30 minutes so that it can go to work weakening the root system of the roof moss.
After the 20-30 minutes have passed the moss root system should be weak enough that you can rinse the moss from your roof with a pressure washer on a low setting for instant results. Do not apply any undue pressure to roof, granule loss may occur. If you can't put your hand in front of the pressure washer water stream then the pressure is too high. If you’re not worried about achieving instant results then I would recommend just letting the cleaner dry. Over the next several days you will see the moss turn from a bright green to a yellow, then brown color. Roof Resolve cuts off the nutrients necessary for the moss to survive. Ultimately it will dry up and begin to fall off your roof with each passing month. For extreme cases of roof moss reapply as necessary until the moss has weakened, turned brown, and dried up.
Don't wait, try Roof Resolve roof cleaner today and finally remove the damaging moss from your roof shingles.
